The Beautiful Bounty

Upon entry, you will be welcomed by the cozy sitting room with eclectic furnishings and décor.  This space invites guests to luxuriate on the generously-sized sectional to watch a movie of their choosing, perhaps a Sonoma Valley Film festival pick, on the large flat screen TV with accompanied soundbar. 

From the entry’s sitting room, your eyes will be led by the stunning wide plank oak floors to the kitchen & great room.

The incredible gourmet kitchen offers an elevated take on modern farmhouse style.   With breathtaking marble back splashes, stone counter tops, brass fixtures, a six-burner wolf oven & range, additional built in convection oven & microwave, open shelving, ample cabinetry, and island seating, you will take pleasure in preparing a wine country feast while sipping its fruitage.

An updated and cozier take on an open floor plan, leads you from the kitchen to the great room which offers vaulted ceilings and delicious morning sun.  This well thought out space pulls light via modern sliding & standard glass doors and with the help of transom windows that line the northern and southern walls. Here you will find the dining area for six, a work space by way of a vintage desk, parlor games, and the family room. 

The family room is ever so slightly tucked away.  A perfect place to watch the big game or sneak in a nap while food is being prepared.  This room, like the sitting room, is also equipped with a generous sectional and large flat screen TV. 

Down the hall, between the entry room and kitchen, are the two bedrooms and bathroom.  The first guest room is equipped with a queen-sized rod-iron bed, cozy chair, work space, and dual windows. The second bedroom is light and airy.  It is equipped with two extra long twin-sized rod iron beds, work space, and dual windows.  The bathroom was remodeled with antique dual sinks, modern & whimsical black mermaid-tile floors, and standing shower with cream-colored subway tile walls.

The great room leads to the bountifully-sized backyard with its covered patio, dining table, large lawn, and a Kamado “Big Green Egg ceramic grill & smoker, and portable pizza oven.   The large covered patio is perfect for experiencing the outdoors in any weather.  Enjoy a meal at the farm-style table; seating six, and lit by three oversized wicker pendant lights.  Just off the patio, in a manicured pebbled area with pavers & lined with indigenous landscaping, you will find seating for four in Adirondack-style chairs.  Beyond, you will see the rest of the rustic, yet relaxing yard.  This includes the lawn; perfect for a game of cornhole, and small garden.

For the cat lovers, our four-legged family member, “Critters” lives on property full-time.  She is an eight-year-old, mixed dark grey, indoor/outdoor cat.  Should you leave the back door open she will make herself at home.  Not to worry, we schedule a team member to feed and water Critters. 

The Beautiful Bounty is kid & adult friendly.  The home is designed for the warm-hearted and is located in a fantastic location that allows you to enjoy everything Sonoma Valley has to offer, including: amazing restaurants, wineries, hiking & biking, Sonoma Train Town, and the historic Sonoma Square.  It is also just a quick 20-minute drive to the Napa Valley. 

We would love to host you at what we hope will feel like your home away from home.

Please note:  We cannot guarantee use of a fire pit in the Summer & Fall as there are often No Burn orders from the Country.
